The Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition connects students, academia and industry in pursuit of unconventional business-based solutions that expose unrecognized opportunities with positive social and environmental impact. Fifteen interdisciplinary teams from universities across the nation will compete to address real energy challenges affecting the developing world. This year's case content is sponsored by Off.Grid:Electric, the world's first massively scalable "solar as a service" company, which distributes lighting and energy services to communities outside the electrical grid.
The competition results will be announced at our Energy Mix, also on Nov. 10. The Duke University Energy Conference will follow on Nov. 11.
