Save the Dates for Energy Week at Duke: Nov. 4-9, 2018

Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions

Mark your calendar for the 3rd annual Energy Week at Duke! The 2018 event will offer plenty of professional growth opportunities:

LEARN AND NETWORK.
Join us for the 10th annual Duke University Energy Conference (Nov. 7). This event will showcase industry insights from prominent energy sector experts—last year's speakers included Brad Kitchens (CEO, ScottMadden), and Sayun Sukduang (CEO, Engie North America). You can also network with other students, faculty, and professionals at the Energy Mix (Nov. 6) the night before.‚Äã

COMPETE (OR JUST WATCH).
Student teams from top graduate schools across the country will square off in the 6th annual Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition (Nov. 6). (Last year, when the case focused on electricity access in Kenya, teams walked away with $15K in prizes.) In addition, conference-goers can check out promising research from students far and wide at the Energy Research Poster Presentation (Nov. 7)

FIND OUT WHAT'S NEXT.
Duke University is one of the premier universities for energy-related research. Check out what students and faculty are creating at Energy Technology Day (Nov. 5). And if you're a student, the Spark Career Event (Nov. 6) will help you explore what could be next for you.

& MUCH MORE!

Energy Week at Duke is organized by seven student energy clubs across campus, with support from the Duke University Energy Initiative and the Center for Energy, Development and the Global Environment (EDGE) at the Fuqua School of Business, which has been recognized among the top 10 business schools in energy.
