Energy Workshop to highlight Duke research
What are the some of the latest findings in energy technology? What are the emerging issues in energy and environmental policy? How is energy poverty affecting growth in developing countries?
More than two dozen Duke University researchers will discuss their ongoing work and newest findings on these and other energy-related topics when the Energy Initiative hosts its first Energy Research Collaboration Workshop.
The day-long event — open to Duke faculty, research staff and students — will be held Tuesday, May 7. It's followed by the monthly Energy Mix, a public reception that provides the Duke community a chance to mingle with energy industry, government and organization professionals.
Presentations will vary from a poster session to brief "sketches," panel discussions and papers, with ample time included to speak to presenters and fellow attendees about findings and new research collaboration ideas.
Registration is required to attend the workshop, which includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. The Energy Mix, as always, is open to the public. All events will be held in Gross Hall.
