Duke WiSE presents their Spring Career Panel: Women in Government on Thursday, May 6th at 6pm. They have four panelists to discuss science opportunities in government, the transition from academia to their positions, and any other questions the audience might have.

WiSE is excited to hear about these women's experiences through this virtual panel and will also offer breakout discussion sections to allow the audience to ask more tailored questions about the fields they are interested in.

  • Adria Wilson, (Ph.D. '14) - Manager, U.S. Policy and Advocacy at Breakthrough Energy
  • Keisha Findley, (Ph.D. '10) - Scientific Reviewer and Microbiologist at FDA  
  • Sheena Scruggs, (Ph.D. '16) - Health Scientist at NIEHS
  • Sandra Vergara, (Ph.D. '10) - Biologist at NIEHS/NIH
