Duke University's U.N. Climate Change Negotiations Practicum (ENV 592/PUBPOL 592) will be offered during the Fall 2022 Semester on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:45 PM. This course explores international climate change negotiations and climate policy under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The course may include the opportunity to attend COP27 in Egypt, although public health and travel restrictions may introduce limitations. The faculty sponsors for the course are Professors Jonathan Wiener (Duke Law) and Billy Pizer (Resources for the Future, previously Sanford School of Public Policy), and the course leaders are graduate students Rachel Barrales and Dhruv Jhaveri. Participation in this year's Practicum is open to graduate and upper-level undergraduate students at Duke University.
