The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster is proud to present this year's Annual Meeting with the theme Regional Innovation, Global Application.

The 2017 Annual Meeting will feature the innovations and collaborative efforts taking place in the Triangle to make our region a global leader in smart grid, transportation, and water technologies.

This year's theme will dive into the solutions developed by the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster members and the applicability of those solutions on the global stage. Innovative ideas spurring from the world-class research and talent coming from our universities along with the collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset of the Triangle have led to game-changing breakthroughs in the energy field. In the last year alone, we've seen the deployment of microgrids in the most remote parts of Alaska, drones to detect inefficiencies in our buildings, and unmanned vehicles used to transport our veterans to the help they need.

These stories highlight only a few of the groundbreaking ideas originating in our backyard and carried out across the world. The future for innovation and development look incredibly promising as new companies call the Triangle home while companies already here continue to grow.
