ArcGIS Workshop Series
The Pratt MEMP Energy Club will be hosting a workshop on ArcGIS, in two sessions, with the 1st session on October 26th and 2nd session on November 2nd. The first that was originally planned for Oct 12th has been postponed to Oct 26th.

The workshop is designed to give students an overview of the ArcGIS software and no prior experience in ArcGIS is needed.

ArcGIS is the most powerful mapping and analytics software. It is a geographical information system for working with maps and geographical information. It is used for creating and using maps, for spatial analytics to find the best location business, plan for smart communities, for managing and extracting answers from imagery tools and workflows for visualization and analysis, and also for collecting, crowdsourcing, storing and sharing data efficiently.

We will be learning basic concepts about the software and also a few applications of ArcGIS in energy.
