Steve Slawson, Vice President of Operations of Slawson Exploration, will present a brief talk on current issues in the oil and gas sector, followed by discussion. Lunch will be provided.

Registration is required.

BIO: Steve Slawson graduated from Duke University in 1978, with a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Economics. He is Vice President of Operations of Slawson Exploration, a family business based in Wichita, Kansas, with offices in Oklahoma City and Denver, one of the 10 largest private oil producers in the nation.

Steve is a board member for Intrust Bank, Kansas's largest privately held bank; the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, where he is a past Membership Chair; and is past Scholastic Chairman on the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board. He is a board member for City Care/Whiz Kids, the Greater OKC YMCA, Peppers Ranch Foster Care, an inner city tutor,  and has been active with the Oklahoma City Downtown Kiwanis for 10 years. He loves to fish, golf, and travel with his wife of 36 years, Linda, a former Mrs. Oklahoma. They have three grown children.
