The Nicholas School Energy Club (NSEC) invites all Duke graduate students to apply to attend their 2017 Career Trek in Austin, TX from October 25-27. The purpose of this trip is to learn about the diversity of companies comprising the energy sector in and around Austin, Texas, and to network with alumni and potential employers. Over the course of two days, students will visit diverse companies, spanning renewable energy technology, energy financing, and utilities, among others.

Trip participants will be asked to contribute to pre-trip research on selected companies and post-trip reporting on company visits. Lodging, transportation, and some food will be provided by NSEC. Flights and most food will be the participant's responsibility.

All current Duke graduate students are welcome to apply. The Club is looking for students from a variety of backgrounds in accordance with the trip's interdisciplinary scope.
