About

With ambitious goals for North Carolina's electric vehicle deployment, Governor Cooper's Executive Order 80 (EO 80) established a goal of 80,000 EVs on the road by 2025, while directing the NC Department of Transportation and the NC Department of Environmental Quality to put together the ZEV Plan. According to the Department of Energy, North Carolina currently ranks 16th in the nation of total electric vehicles registered in the state. During this webinar, you'll learn about the policy limitations and opportunities that will help our state reach the goals referenced in EO 80. NCSEA will also discuss the importance of supporting underserved and diverse populations in this work to achieve a cleaner energy future.
