The Nicholas School Energy Club is hosting Dennis Gilmore (Duke PhD '78) who will discuss his career path, give students guidance on working in the energy industry, and dive into some the work he is leading at RTI International on CO2 capture, natural gas extraction and conversion, and syngas processing. Through his roles at Shell, PPG, and RTI, Dennis has led the development and commercialization of more than 200 new products and processes. RTI International provides research and technical services to clients worldwide. 

Dr. Dennis Gilmore currently serves as the Sr. Director of the Center of Technology for Energy, Environment & Engineering at RTI International in Raleigh, NC.  

Dinner will be at 5:00pm followed by an interactive conversation with Dennis.
