About
With atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs) on a steady rise toward climate- destabilizing levels and the largest source of anthropogenic GHGs coming from energy production, there is wide advocacy for an energy transition to low-carbon sources. What are the options for decarbonizing energy? What are the economic and social consequences of these changes? What policies will be necessary for enabling the transition in an efficient and equitable manner?
Duke students, postdocs, and faculty are invited to join Dr. Murray, director of the Duke University Energy Initiative, for dinner and discussion. Event is free and transportation is available if needed. RSVP required.
