Join the Nicholas School of the Environment this Tuesday, October 24 for a lunch with two leaders from the energy access and distributed renewable energy space: Kristina Skierka, the CEO of Power for All, and Jonathan Phillips, the newly named director of the Energy Access Project at Duke. The lunch will take place in Gross Hall, Room 100A from 12-1pm on Tuesday.

As a leading voice for the planet's 1.2 billion people without basic electricity access, Kristina Skierka has built Power for All into a research and advocacy organization that is helping advance renewable, decentralized electrification solutions as the fastest, most cost-effective and sustainable approach to universal energy access. She'll be joined by,  Jonathan Phillips, a climate finance and clean energy policy expert who has recently joined Duke's Nicholas Institute. He will provide an introduction to Duke's new platform focused on channeling the university community's interests and efforts on energy access towards developing solutions to real world energy poverty challenges.

There is limited space for this event. Please RSVP to Amanda Shipp (amanda.newton@duke.edu) with your commitment by Monday @ 5pm.
