The Duke Energy Access Project (EAP) is organizing a career trek for a limited number of students to Washington DC, from January 23rd to 24th 2020 focused on energy in emerging markets. Students will spend two days meeting with diverse companies and organizations in the sector to learn more about their work and various career paths they can pursue.

During the career trek, students will also have the opportunity to network and have frank discussions about energy policy and market challenges in emerging economies with alumni and other sector experts. On Thursday, students will be visiting offices and meet working professionals within organizations. On Friday morning, students will be part of discussion sessions where guest speakers will share their work and their career experiences. This part of the event will be held at Duke in DC.

EAP will provide transportation to and from Durham and accommodation in Washington DC for 2 nights (22/01 and 23/01) for the students attending this career trek.

Who: This experience is open to all Duke students but priority is given to students in their last academic year. Students will know by January 17th if they have been selected to be part of such an exciting opportunity.
