Your chance to learn about DukeEngage Brazil/Paraguay and talk with project leaders Dr. Luana Lima and Dr. Christine Folch! Attend in person at West Duke 08A or via Zoom.
This summer, students will partner with organizations and research sites in Brazil and Paraguay to make recommendations regarding Itaipu dam electricity after 2023 when the current energy agreements expire. Recommendations will focus on ways to spur economic and sustainable growth for both countries. Applications are due Monday, January 10.
Pro tip for prospective applicants: Dr. Folch wrote a whole book about the Itaipu dam!
