Guest speaker Dennis Furlaneto will talk about what doing data science in ExxonMobil looks like, how a data science team is built, what tools and skills are required, and what a data scientist needs to do in order to add value in the real world.

Furlaneto is a senior data scientist at ExxonMobil. A computer engineer with a master's degree in computer science, his professional background is a combination of machine learning, high performance computing, systems architecture and software development. His current work revolves around architecting and building intelligent systems, natural language processing, and computer vision.
