Ambitious students from top universities across the country will vie for prizes while proposing innovative solutions applicable to an emerging energy market.

This will be the sixth annual Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition organized by the MBA Energy Club at Duke. In 2017, the competition focused on the off-grid regulatory landscape and business models in Kenya. The University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School of Business team took home the $10,000 prize, funded by a gift from James E. and M.A. Rogers.

Updated information about the 2018 competition will be made available at http://energyweekatduke.org, where you can read about previous competitions and winning teams.

The Energy Case Competition is part of Energy Week at Duke, a series of energy events planned each year by Duke University students.
