About

Current Duke undergraduate and graduate students, are you interested in connecting with Duke alumni and companies working in the energy industry? Come learn more about career opportunities in this rapidly growing, talent-hungry sector at SPARK.

This year's SPARK Career Event will include six 25-minute Coffee Chats at which Duke students can learn more about prospective employers and career directions in a relaxed, casual setting. No matter your degree program or level of energy knowledge, this is a great chance to learn more about the energy industry, explore potential opportunities, and connect with Duke alumni in energy. Some alumni will be joining virtually, while others plan to attend in-person.

Companies attending SPARK include Vestas, ABB, Fluence, AEE, Schneider Electric, ANB Systems, Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance, Customer First Renewables, NC Sustainable Energy Association, enel, Apex Clean Energy, Rocky Mountain Institute, and ICF.

The SPARK Career Event is part of Energy Week at Duke University.

About Energy Week at Duke: Energy Week is an annual event series coordinated by dozens of Duke University students from diverse degree programs, with support from the Duke University Energy Initiative (which is merging with the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions) and the Center for Energy, Development and the Global Environment (EDGE) at the Fuqua School of Business. Corporate and organizational sponsors also help make the week possible.
